Winter Games Learn2Curl Registration

Racine Curling Club presents Winter Games Learn2Curls on Friday, January 14 from 6:00-8:00pm and Saturday, January 15 from 11am-3pm.

Registration and payment in advance are required.  For a 1 hour introduction to the basic skills of curling, the cost is $20.00/individual or $10.00/group of 4 or more.

The fee paid will be applied to enrollment into an Winter Games Learning League that will run on 4 Sundays between 1/23-2/27 at a cost of $60/individual.  It may also be applied to a regular curling league registration for the balance of our curling season.

  • Dress in layers. The arena temperature is about 45-50 degrees. If you normally wear a hat outside, you'll probably want to wear one while curling as well.
  • Clothing should allow freedom of movement. You need to be able to squat and lunge (blue jeans are not recommended since your movement is restricted).
  • Lightweight gloves keep your hands warm while still allowing you to feel the stone.
  • You'll be standing on ice for two hours so rubber soled shoes (tennis shoes) are the best option for comfort on the ice. Please note: Please carry in clean rubber soled shoes. Dirt is bad for curling ice

  • All equipment (grippers, brooms, stabilizers, sticks, etc.) will be provided by the club.
